Why MetricBase exists

Most financial media is incentive-misaligned.

Sponsored token reviews. Paid "analysis" dressed as editorial. Traffic-optimised headlines that bury the actual signal. We started MetricBase because we got tired of reading it.

The premise is simple: data-driven research published with honest framing should be the baseline, not the exception. That's what every article, chart, and weekly brief on this network is built around.

We cover three verticals — energy, crypto, Indonesian equities — because each one intersects with the others in ways mainstream coverage misses. A crude oil supply shock touches BTC miners. An IDX sector rotation reflects global macro. We read across all three, so our readers don't have to.
